Roll & Release: MFR for the Spine & Hips *Online* Workshop

  • ONLINE via ZOOM Rincon, Puerto Rico, 00677 (map)

Explore the tools and techniques of self-myofascial release (aka self-massage) focusing on the spine and the hips.

This workshop is great for everyone, especially if you spend hours sitting at a desk or a computer or in a car. Surfers and athletes - this workshop will benefit you too! We’ll focus on releasing tension in these specific areas along with encouraging tissue health and hydration (and maybe learn a little anatomy!). Experience for yourself and learn why MFR helps to ease pain, enhance recovery, and, overtime, can even help increase range of motion and create positive postural changes. At the end of the workshop you will have the knowledge to safely and effectively incorporate MFR into your personal practice, athletic recovery, or self-care routine.

These workshops can also be beneficial for yoga students and teachers that want to incorporate MFR into their practice or teaching.

PLEASE NOTE: Now that we are meeting ONLINE instead of IN PERSON, you will need to have your own props. For the workshop you will need:

  • 2 therapy balls (or tennis balls)

  • a foam roller

  • a yoga block or bolster or pillows or blankets

  • a yoga mat or enough space to move around a bit on the floor
