for breast cancer awareness month

Did you know that 30 minutes of exercise 3-4 days per week can reduce your cancer risk by 30-50%?

I’m so excited to be leading a fundraising class for Boarding 4 Breast Cancer’s (B4BC) “Be Healthy, Get Active” Campaign for a fourth year in a row! These fundraising classes seek to continue B4BC’s promise to promote a healthy, active lifestyle as the best means of breast cancer prevention and survivorship.

As most of you may know, my mom was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in 2021. She went through months of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. It was an incredibly difficult time for her and for our family. Her cancer is currently in remission - YAY! - and I am convinced that her strength and ability to get through all of her treatments was due to her commitment to health & wellness for the majority of her life. My mom was an aerobics instructor for over 30 years, and she’s always been my greatest inspiration when it comes to living a healthy and active lifestyle.


The class will be held in-person at my home deck,
a Special, 60-minute sculpt yoga class focusing on cultivating Inner Strength & Resilience.
all donations will benefit b4bc.

Class Description: A 60-minute Sculpt Yoga class focused on cultivating inner strength and resilience through a combination of strength, stability, and mobility work that will leave you feeling connected, confident, and capable. The class will begin and end with a brief meditation and visualization, and will also incorporate intentional breath work. In-person only in Rincón, Puerto Rico.

Required Props: Just yourself and a yoga mat! We will begin & end seated so it might be nice to have something to sit on (like a pillow, folded blanket, or yoga block). Optional props include a light-medium pair of weights or 2 yoga blocks.
