One of the most pristine, wave-rich stretches of coast here in Puerto Rico is under threat of being completely devastated by the proposed building of an unnecessary Mega-Resort + Casino. Not only will the building of this Resort likely cutoff access to the local surfers and hundreds of visitors that come each year to enjoy these waves and the beaches, it will also cause destruction to this environmentally sensitive area that is home to three endangered species of coral (the reefs make the waves as good as they are) as well as a number of other species of wildlife that call this area home. Many of you, near and far, know and love this area - Wilderness, The Mix, Pressure Point + Wishing Well - so it's time we all come together to take a stand and hopefully turn this special place into a Protected Surfing Reserve that we, and generations to come, can all enjoy. There's a Native American proverb that says, "We don't inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children."
