This class combines yoga asana, breath work, and self-myofascial release (aka self-massage) for a total body reset.
We’ll learn a little anatomy, work into common points of tension, and explore (& experience!) the benefits of incorporating self-myofascial release into a yoga practice. This workshop is open to everyone! Some prior experience with yoga may be helpful, but not necessary as we will not be moving through any advanced postures. My goal is that you will leave feeling totally rejuvenated and with a heightened sense of inner-body awareness. I also hope to give you the tools and knowledge to safely and intentionally take these techniques with you into your own practice, adapting them in a way that works best for you to keep your body feeling good!
FOR THIS WORKSHOP YOU WILL NEED: 2 THERAPY BALLS (OR TENNIS BALLS), 1 YOGA BLOCK, A BLANKET/TOWEL, AND A FOAM ROLLER.
